John Adams

Today I finished an audio book that has proved to be one of the best listening / book experiences in my life: David McCullough's John Adams. McCullough is an amazing author (my next audio book is his pulitzer prize-winning Truman), and he does justice to an amazing man in Adams. If you're interested in the audio version, Amazon.com offers it as an audio book and traditional hard-cover style.

Adams was a genius, had a story-book marriage, and served only one term as president despite incredible contributions. He and Thomas Jefferson, the two most influential men in the drafting of the Declaration of Independence, died on the same day - July 4, 1826, exactly 50 yrs. after their monumental accomplishment.
